XALPESTECH supports operators, EPC contractors and equipment suppliers in the oil, gas, LNG and extraction sectors as a technical representative: equivalence studies for legacy rotating equipment, technical specification and sourcing of critical equipment, reconstruction of technical data — and the design of custom machines, benches and tooling.
Industrial equipment engineering
Form-fit-function equivalence studies for legacy rotating equipment (gear units, pumps, turbines) at end of life or whose original manufacturer no longer exists or no longer serves certain markets. Dimensional and functional cross-checking against applicable standards (API, AGMA, ISO, ANSI).
Preparation of technical requisitions, RFQ packages and supplier qualification for critical industrial equipment, with verification of compliance against the applicable standards (API 610/611/613/677, AGMA, ASME).
Reconciliation of legacy equipment data, field survey coordination and consolidation of dispersed or obsolete original documentation into traceable technical files supporting procurement, engineering and asset integrity decisions.
New division
A dedicated division acts as technical representative for operators, EPC contractors and equipment suppliers: it carries the technical side of a procurement, from the equivalence study to the accepted supplier, and remains accountable for the file.
Scope: equivalence and obsolescence, technical requisitions and RFQ packages, supplier qualification and technical bid evaluation, verification against API 610/611/613/677, AGMA and ASME, factory and field survey coordination, and consolidation of the technical file.
Area of activity: South-East Asia is the priority area; programs are conducted from Austin with partners in the region.
Machines & custom equipment
XALPESTECH designs the physical equipment that the other divisions and their clients need: test benches, fixtures, tooling, small machines and mechanical assemblies, from specification to prototype and pre-series.
Pressure-drop and flow benches, fixtures and instrumentation for the Testing Laboratory Division and for external laboratories.
Prototyping tooling, assembly fixtures and inspection gauges for pre-series.
Small special-purpose machines and mechanical assemblies designed to specification.
Ongoing engineering engagement covering feasibility and technical equivalence assessment for legacy critical rotating equipment on an existing industrial facility. Confidential program conducted under non-disclosure obligations.
